Gran Lutheran Church has provided ministry to rural residents since 1879. Our church is located in rural Hawley, Minnesota. It is a beautiful drive from your home. Upon arriving, you will be welcomed. A few of our annual celebrations include: Our June sale helps fund our stewardship goals. Festivities include a live auctioneer selling baked good, pickles, jams, crafts, and other items from local artists. There is pie, coffee and grab bags for the children. This is by far our most scrumptious event. We also celebrate Flag Day. This is an enjoyable event that honors our veterans; includes live music, a flag ceremony and delightful surprises. We also ejoy mouth-watering treats throughout the morning. Some of our missions include an active quilting group. Hundreds of quilts have been shipped overseas and not one has ever been returned.
